As a dancer and dual citizen of France and the U.S., I’ve been fortunate to experience dance across diverse cultural places. In France, I danced recreationally, while in the U.S., I trained in a pre-professional ballet conservatory and then in college. These experiences, along with intensive programs where I’ve met dancers from around the world, have shaped who I am today. What I’ve come to realize is that no matter where you are, dance remains a universal constant. It’s a powerful, unifying force with a shared language of emotional connection that transcends borders and differences.
I experience dance as a means of emotional connection, self-expression, and release. For me, it goes beyond physical movement to become a language through which I process and share my emotions, expressing what words cannot. Through movement, I connect deeply with myself and others, creating meaningful experiences that celebrate our shared humanity.
My movement style is a dynamic fusion of concert and commercial dance, blending elements of jazz, contemporary, and modern. I embrace experimentation and refuse to be confined to a single style. I am passionate about immersing myself in as many styles as possible, learning from the cultural histories and individuals behind each one. This constant exploration expands my artistic vocabulary and deepens my understanding of the diverse world around me.
I believe dance thrives in environments where curiosity, hard work, resilience, support, and passion take place. These values drive my approach to movement and artistry, allowing me to grow both as a dancer and as a person. Dance grounds me in the present moment—allowing me to feel the rhythm flow through my body, release what no longer serves me, and share my energy with others.
To me, dance is life. It’s about pushing creative boundaries, celebrating diversity, and connecting through the universal language of movement. As Jazz dance educator, Sheila Barker said, “Dance is already part of us, and it lives, and it’s life.” I live by this belief and strive to create, grow, and inspire through this art form.
